      With this simple sentence in your will you have the power to help save thousands of lives:


      "I give the sum of $___________ to the Montgomery County Humane Society Inc., a non-profit organization that currently operates at 601 South Stonestreet Avenue, Rockville, Maryland 20850. Tax ID: 52-6044968."


      If you already have your will prepared, your lawyer can easily add this request to it with a codicil.


      Whatever method you choose, be assured that the abandoned, unwanted, and abused animals that we save, care for, and find homes for, deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness.

      There are other ways to help the Montgomery County Humane Society in your will — such as naming the MCHS as a residuary legatee or as a beneficiary in any trust created by your will. Your lawyer can assist you with these alternative methods of expressing your generosity.
