In partnership with dreamBIG Press, the Montgomery County Humane Society is offering a new children’s book series that presents an innovative and lavishly illustrated approach to topics kids will easily relate to. Written by local author Peter J. Goodman, the first book in the series, We’re All Different but We’re All Kitty Cats, includes examples of how to handle and prevent bullying.
MCHS’s humane education program emphasizes that learning about animals and treating them with empathy, along with learning about people through animal characters, is a key part of growing up. Kind kids learn to become adults who care about all living beings, both human and animal.
dreamBIG Press will donate a portion of proceeds from book sales to support humane education programs at MCHS. Learn more about the book on the Kitty Cats’ website.
