This year’s Paws in the Park Pet Walk & Family Fun Fair was one of the most successful walks ever; $50,000 was raised in support of the important work of the Montgomery County Humane Society. We can not thank everyone enough for their efforts and commitment to the animals that come to stay with us for a while.
We hope everyone was able to walk with your canine pals without getting too wet from the afternoon rain. The storms certainly presented a few challenges, but the rain didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s spirits. The activities, exhibitors & sponsors provided fun and special treats for the animals. Artwork was created at the Mutt-iesse booth; kisses were given at the Bulldog Kissing booth; and portraits were done by Lisa Solomon Photography. In addition, Armand’s Pizza, Carmen’s Italian Ice, Ben & Jerry’s, and Maui Wowi satisfied our taste buds throughout the afternoon. |
