The Montgomery County Humane Society hosts Dances with Dogs, an annual benefit dinner and dance in November. Held at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, this event draws over 300 of the Washington area’s premier pet lovers. Last year, the evening grossed over $65,000 to help the homeless animals under our care.
This year’s dance will mark the celebration of MCHS’ 50th anniversary – a big deal! We are looking for committee members to help us secure individual and corporate sponsorships and high end live auction items.
The committee meets monthly from March to August on weekday evenings at our rescue facility in Rockville, twice a month in September, and about once a week from October until the dance in November. Meetings run about an hour and a half.
