Employees from VT Aepco, a leading engineering and research firm with corporate headquarters in Gaithersburg, donated blankets, towels, sheets and fleece blankets this spring. Meaghan Frustaci, government affairs liaison and community involvement coordinator, organized fleece blanket assembly lines during lunch hours, and employees crafted more than 50 durable, washable blankets, making the homeless animals at MCHS more comfortable.

“We hope the animals are enjoying their beds! The company had a great time with this project,” said Frustaci. VT Aepco also put a $500 cash donation towards a sponsorship at Paws in the Park Dog Walk. Special thanks to Joyce Villella, director of contracts of VT Aepco, who donated the supplies needed for the beds, and Meaghan Frustaci who organized the project.
