Our
Special Needs
Animals

|
MCHS has established a special fund to support those animals that are in need of extra care and medical treatment. The fund was named in memory of a very special dog, Joey, who in his short life touched us all. To read more about Joey, click on the button to the left.
The following are special need animals that require extra medical care and/or a special home.
Your generous support can help these wonderful pets find their happy endings!

Juliet/Foster is an intelligent 2-yr old
Siamese-tortie mix with unusual markings
and very big light blue eyes. She likes
to explore around the house, thoroughly
inspecting any thing new. Sometimes we
even call her Snoopy, as she likes to
snoop around so much. She likes to have
a good quota of lap time per day,
purring with contentment. She spends her
time during the day chasing bugs, bird
watching, and sleeping in the sun or up
high. When we've been out of the house,
she will greet us at the door and roll
on her back just to let us know she is
happy to see us. She's the type of cat
that likes to get up close and friendly
with strangers, as well as those people
who are using computers or reading the
newspaper. She would probably do best in
a home with older children and as an
only cat. Apartment living would be okay
with her too. She always uses her litter
box, is spayed and FIV and FELV
negative, has her shots and ID
microchip. To visit with Juliet, call Susan
@ 301-437-7460/email
susancutler@starpower.net.
She is a special needs cat. She has a
stomitis-like condition that causes her
teeth to decay at the gum line and break
off. She will need a dental exam with
cleaning and possible extractions once a
year. |
