SOLD OUT!
A fun, heart-warming affair…
The Love Ball, MCHS’ annual gala, was sold out on Saturday, November 13 at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda to celebrate the work of many who help thousands of deserving animals get the chance for a better life.
More than 300 animal lovers enjoyed a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dinner, awards program, and dancing to live music from Bittersweet, who rocked with their generously donated performance. Capital Décor and Events provided the chic décor and CPR Multi-Media Solutions conducted a splashy audio visual display.
During the auction, guests bid on luxury items such as trips to the Four Seasons Hotel Miami and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas; sports memorabilia autographed by Donovan McNabb, Sonny Jurgensen, and Redskins head coach Mike Shannahan; and gift certificates to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Black’s, Redwood Restaurant & Bar, Clyde’s Tower Oaks Lodge, Park Hyatt, and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa.
Dog guests enjoyed gourmet treats from the doggie bar sponsored by Bark, Chow Now and Bentley’s Barkery, and psychic readings by Terri Diener. Their owners spoke with an animal communicator from Pet Speak.
